Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Pick-up from your hotel in Fes early morning (around 7:30 AM).
Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco" for its alpine architecture.
Stop at the Cedar Forest of Azrou to observe the playful Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.
Continue south to the market town of Midelt for lunch, with views of Jebel Ayachi (3,737m).
Drive through Errachidia and the spectacular Ziz Valley, a stunning palm-lined river gorge with ancient kasbahs.
Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon where your camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes awaits.
Ride across the golden dunes to your desert camp, enjoy a magical sunset, and spend the night under a blanket of stars with traditional Berber music around the campfire.
Day 2
Wake early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Sahara dunes — a truly unforgettable moment.
Return by camel to the village of Merzouga for breakfast and a refreshing shower.
Drive to Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops and date palm groves — optional visit to a marble fossil factory.
Continue to Tinghir and explore the breathtaking Todra Gorges, Morocco's most famous canyon with 300-meter high cliffs.
Walk along the canyon floor between the towering rock walls.
Continue through the stunning Dades Valley, known as the "Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs".
Admire the famous "Monkey Fingers" rock formations carved by centuries of erosion.
Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel overlooking the dramatic Dades Gorges.
Day 3
After breakfast, drive through Kalaat M'gouna, the famous Valley of Roses (rose festival in May).
Continue through the lush Skoura Oasis with its thousands of palm trees to Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa".
Optional visit to the Atlas Film Studios, one of the world's largest film studios.
Visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and iconic filming location for Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m) with panoramic photo stops.
Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, drop-off at your accommodation.
