Explore Morocco's diverse landscapes on this 4-day adventure from Agadir to Marrakech. Journey through the rugged Anti-Atlas Mountains, the charming walled city of Taroudant, the dramatic valleys and kasbahs of Dades, and the golden Sahara Desert dunes at Merzouga. Ride camels at sunset, witness breathtaking desert sunrises, and experience authentic Berber hospitality.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Depart from Agadir early morning.
Drive through Taroudant, known as the "Little Marrakech," with its red walls and souks.
Continue through the scenic Anti-Atlas Mountains toward Ouarzazate (~5 hours total driving).
Pass through the beautiful Skoura Oasis and Kalaat M'gouna (Valley of Roses) to reach the spectacular Dades Valley with its famous 'Monkey Fingers' rock formations.
Dinner and overnight in a traditional riad or hotel in Dades Valley.
Day 2
After breakfast, visit the breathtaking Todra Gorges with 300m towering cliffs — ideal for walking and photography.
Continue toward Merzouga, passing Tinejdad and Erfoud, famous for dates and fossils.
Arrive in Merzouga and start a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Watch the sunset over the desert and enjoy a traditional Berber dinner around the campfire.
Sleep under the stars or in a comfortable desert camp tent with Berber music.
Day 3
Early wake-up to catch the sunrise over the dunes.
Return by camel or vehicle to Merzouga village for breakfast and shower.
Drive through Alnif and Tazzarine, following the scenic Draa Valley with its palm groves and kasbahs.
Continue to Ouarzazate. Optional visit to Atlas Film Studios or Taourirt Kasbah.
Dinner and overnight in a traditional riad or hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 4
Depart Ouarzazate after breakfast.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m) with panoramic photo stops.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped Atlas range and lush surrounding valleys.
Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon (~4.5 hours driving), ending the tour at your hotel or the airport.
